Once construction began Sam was on-hand to answer our questions and worked with the contractor to produce extra details as the project progressed. We’ve lived in our home for over 6 months now and enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas for our family. We love the space for the pace of our everyday lives and also how it accommodates many people over the holidays. We are go grateful to Sam for his insight, guidance and attention to detail, we intend to consult with SDL over the coming years to develop the property

New Build Glen Ellen Farmhouse

This new-build home sits between acres vineyard on the floor of the Sonoma Valley. Designed with rustic charm in mind this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home uses cues from farmhouse vernacular and is finished in the traditional Sonoma farmhouse style. For the immediate future a guest wing will accommodate visitors and in later years support the owners by hosting a live-in care taker.

The kitchen has a large pass-through window to the outdoor kitchen and utilizes a continuous countertop for a seamless grilling workflow, which also serves as a buffet area for outdoor dining. The back deck runs parallel to a planned future pool which is immediately accessible to the primary bedroom and guest wing.

The meticulous construction of this home is thanks to Whitfield Construction.
